Planners and Printables

Everything here started as something I built for myself, or for a friend who rang me in a panic eight weeks before her wedding. They’re printable, they’re yours the moment you buy them, and there’s no app to download or account to remember.

Prices are what they are because these should cost less than a bottle of wine at the reception. Have a look and take whatever’s useful.

Planning the day

The four that do the heavy lifting. If you only buy one thing and you’ve just got engaged, make it the budget tracker, because every other decision you’re about to make depends on a number you haven’t worked out yet.

Start here

The Under £10k Wedding Budget Tracker

Built around a real UK wedding on a real budget, with every category costed so you’re not guessing what a photographer should come to. Running totals update as you go, so you can see immediately what saying yes to the string quartet costs you somewhere else.

£9  ·  Instant download  ·  Works just as well above £10k, the categories don’t change

For the final stretch

The Wedding Countdown Planner

Two speeds in one file. A twelve-month timeline for the long run of big bookings, then a week-by-week countdown for the final twelve weeks, when the small jobs pile up underneath the big ones. Tasks are written so you can hand them straight to a bridesmaid or your mother rather than doing the lot yourself.

£8  ·  Instant download  ·  Twelve months out to the morning itself

New

The Guest List and Seating Planner

The job that never quite finishes. People reply late, plus-ones appear, dietary requirements arrive by text three days before the wedding, and the seating plan gets rebuilt four times. This holds up to 200 guests, counts your replies as they come in, and means you can answer the caterer’s headcount question in about ten seconds.

£7  ·  Instant download  ·  RSVPs, dietary requirements and tables in one place

For the day itself

The Big Day Wedding Day Timeline

An hour-by-hour running order from the morning through to the last dance, with supplier arrival times and contacts in one place. Hand a copy to the venue, the photographer and whoever is chasing the flowers, and you stop being the only person who knows what happens next.

£5  ·  Instant download  ·  Editable, so you can send it round

The Wedding Venue Comparison Sheet

Three venues seen over a fortnight all blur into one. This scores them against the same criteria, adds up the true cost including the extras nobody quotes for, and weights the things that actually matter to you. It pairs with the free venue question checklist, which tells you what to ask in the first place.

£6  ·  Instant download  ·  Compare several venues side by side

Stops it looking mismatched

The Colour Palette and Mood Board Planner

The reason DIY weddings sometimes look like DIY weddings is that everything was bought in six separate orders over four months, each one slightly off from the last. Lock the palette first, take the swatches with you, and the candles, linens, stationery and flowers all read as one decision.

£5  ·  Instant download  ·  Swatch sheets you can show a supplier

The bit where you have to say something

Two products for the part of the wedding that keeps people awake. Both are structures rather than scripts, because a speech that sounds like a template is worse than a short one that sounds like you.

For the ceremony

The Big Day Wedding Vows Workbook

Prompts to get you past the blank page, a structure that works, and guidance on length, which is the thing people get most wrong. Not a set of vows to copy. The point is to end up with something that sounds like the two of you and nobody else.

£6  ·  Instant download  ·  Works for both of you, separately or together

For whoever left it late

The Big Day Wedding Speech Template

A structure that holds up whether you’re the best man, the father of the bride, the maid of honour or the couple themselves. Prompts, running order, timing, and the standard traps. Most useful at about eleven o’clock the night before, which is when most speeches actually get written.

£6  ·  Instant download  ·  Covers every speaking role

If you’re going to a wedding rather than having one

For a season of weddings

The Big Day Guest Outfit Planner

For anyone with three weddings in a summer and a growing suspicion they’re about to buy three dresses. A dress code decoder, venue-type notes, outfit builder sheets so you can log what you wore and in front of whom, a packing list for overnight stays, and a budget tracker across the whole season.

£7  ·  Instant download  ·  Pays for itself if it stops you buying one extra outfit

Before you buy

What format are they?

Printable files you download straight after paying. No app, no login, no subscription. Print as many copies as you like, for your own wedding.

How quickly do I get it?

Immediately. The download link arrives by email within a minute of paying. If it hasn’t, check your spam folder before you panic, then get in touch.

Can I use them on a phone or tablet?

Yes, though most people print them. The venue and budget sheets in particular are designed to be written on while you’re standing in a venue rather than tapped at.

Should I just buy the bundle?

If you want four or more, yes. The four biggest planners come to £30 on their own, so the bundle is already cheaper and you get the other four for nothing. If you only need one or two specific things, buy those on their own.

What if it’s not what I expected?

Get in touch and tell me. These are digital files so I can’t take them back, but I’d rather sort it out than have you feel short-changed.
